To enhance your workout experience, we’ve introduced Chromecast support so you can stream workout videos from your app directly to your TV. Below are steps and troubleshooting tips to help you get started or resolve any issues you may encounter.
How to Cast Your Workout Videos
- Step 1: Connect to the Same Wi-Fi Network: Ensure your phone and your Chromecast-enabled TV or device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Step 2: Look for the Cast Icon: When a compatible casting device is detected, a cast icon will appear on the video player.
- Step 3: Start Casting: Tap the cast icon. Select your Chromecast-enabled device from the list. The video will begin playing on your TV. Your phone will act as the remote control for playback.
- Step 4: Control Playback from Your Phone: You can play, pause, skip, or seek the video from the app. All controls will sync in real-time with the TV display.
Tips:
- For the best experience, use a stable Wi-Fi connection.
- Ensure app permissions (such as Local Network Access on iOS) are enabled.
- Check that your TV or Chromecast software is fully up to date.
No Cast Icon Appearing
- Check that both your phone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Ensure you are using a Chromecast-enabled device (such as Chromecast, Google TV, or a compatible smart TV).
- Try restarting both your phone and your TV.
- Make sure the app is updated to the latest version via the App Store or Google Play.
Cast Icon Appears but Device Isn’t Listed
- Ensure the TV is turned on and not in sleep mode.
- Restart your Wi-Fi router.
- Disable and re-enable Wi-Fi on your phone to refresh the connection.
Video Not Syncing or Lags
- Minimise other devices using the same network.
- Close unnecessary apps running in the background.
- Ensure your casting device is receiving a strong Wi-Fi signal. Moving your router closer may help.
No Devices Available Message
- If no compatible casting devices are detected, a message will appear indicating that no casting devices are available.
- Please double-check your device and network settings.
- Try reconnecting or restarting both your phone and the TV to trigger device detection.
